Linda Chung

Linda Chung Ka-Yan (traditional Chinese: 鍾嘉欣) (born 9 April 1984) was the 2004 Miss Chinese International Pageant winner and is now an actress with TVB in Hong Kong. She speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.. She has appeared in many successful series including Best Bet (2007), Heart of Greed (2007) along with its indirect sequel Moonlight Resonance (2008), A Journey Called Life (2008), Legends of the Demigods (2008) and The Gem of Life (2008-09).

Linda was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. After graduating from Vancouver's Templeton Secondary School in 2002, Linda attended the University of British Columbia for a year. During that same year, Linda participated and won first place in a beauty-talent show hosted by Crystal Mall, an Asian mall located in Burnaby, British Columbia.

In 2003, Linda won the title of Miss Chinese Vancouver, along with three awards in the same event. In 2004, she joined Miss Chinese International, a beauty contest organized by TVB, and became the third Vancouverite in 4 years to win Miss Chinese International after Bernice Liu in 2001 and Shirley Zhou in 2002. The 1st and 2nd runner-up in the same year was Mandy Cho (Hong Kong) and Carlene Aguilar (Manila).
