Her celebrity made her one of the best known tennis players worldwide. At the peak of her fame, fans looking for images of Kournikova made her name (or misspellings of it) one of the most common search strings on the internet search engine Google.
Anastasia Andreyevna Myskina (Анастасия Мыскина; IPA: [ʌnəstʌˈsʲijə ˈmɨskʲɪnə]) (born July 8, 1981, Moscow, Russia) is a professional tennis player from Russia.
Her German coach, Jens Gerlach, is also a former boyfriend. Myskina's supposed current boyfriend is HC Dynamo Moscow hockey player Alexandr Stepanov, and she has also been linked to Austrian tennis pro Jürgen Melzer. On 10 October 2006 Melzer commented: "We're happy as a couple, but everything else is none of your business, it's our private life!"
Elena Vyacheslavovna Dementieva (pronounced: Russian pronunciation: [dʲɪˈmʲentjɪvə] Russian: Елена Вячеславовна Дементьева (help·info)); born October 15, 1981, Moscow), is a professional tennis player from Russia.
Dementieva played and won her first international tournament, Les Petit As, in France at the age of 13. In 1997, she entered the WTA top 500. She turned professional in 1998 and entered the top 100 in 1999. She is currently ranked World No. 6.
Daniela Hantuchova (Slovak: Daniela Hantuchová; pronounced [ˈdanɪjɛla ˈɦantuxɔvaː], roughly HAHN-too-koh-vah; born April 23, 1983 in Poprad, Czechoslovakia, now Slovakia) is a Slovak professional tennis player.
She is currently working with a number of coaches who work out of the Sanchez-Casal Academy, primarily Angel Gimenez and occasionally with Eduardo Nicolas. Her WTA Tour mentor in the "Partners for Success" program was Martina Navratilova, who was her doubles partner for a brief period in early 2005. As of July 7, 2008, Hantuchova is ranked World No. 12 in singles.

She won her first Grand Slam singles title at the 2008 French Open. She was the runner-up in singles at the 2007 French Open and the 2008 Australian Open.

As of June 23, 2008, she is ranked World No. 2. Sharapova has won three Grand Slam singles titles. In 2004, at the age of 17, she defeated Serena Williams in the Wimbledon final. She has since won the 2006 US Open, defeating Justine Henin in the final, and the 2008 Australian Open, defeating Ana Ivanovic in the final.
