v-u-den (美勇伝, Biyūden) (also romanized Biyuuden, Viyuden, or Biyuden) is a J-pop group within Hello! Project. The group was formed in August 2004 and consists of members Rika Ishikawa, Erika Miyoshi, and Yui Okada, with Ishikawa being the leader. The name means: beauty (美, bi), bravery (勇, yū), and legend (伝, den). The group officially disbanded on June 29, 2008 after their last concert during their v-u-densetsu 5 tour.

Saaya Irie (入江紗綾, Irie Saaya, born November 15, 1993, in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Japan) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, junior idol and singer. Her stage name is simply her given name, Saaya.
She has recently been appearing in numerous films, radio, and television programs including the recent live action TV drama adaptation of the Jigoku Shoujo series. She has also done voice work, appearing in the recent anime OVA Kyo no Gononi as Chika Koizu. She was formerly a member of Japanese musical group Sweet Kiss before it disbanded on May 12, 2006 to be replaced by the group Chase.
Anna Tsuchiya (土屋 アンナ, Tsuchiya Anna) is a Japanese singer, lyricist, actress, and semi-retired model. Anna was born to a Japanese mother and a Russian-American father. She has a younger brother, Kenneth and an older sister, Angela, who is a model as well.

Her mother is Okinawan. She has appeared in a number of television dramas, commercials, films, and stage productions. On June 21st, 2008, she released her debut single, "Like This". Although she had sung in the 2007 drama, Crows ZERO, "Like This" was the first single she had sung under her birth name.

Sayumi Michishige (道重 さゆみ ,Michishige Sayumi, (named after Sayumi Horie) born July 13, 1989 in Ube, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan) is a sixth generation member of the J-pop group Morning Musume.
She joined Morning Musume in 2003 along with Eri Kamei, Miki Fujimoto and Reina Tanaka, which all made their debuts with Morning Musume in the group's nineteenth single, Shabondama. Since 2005 she was assigned as mentor to 7th generation member Koharu Kusumi.
Michishige is also a member of the Hello! Project unit Ecomoni along with former Morning Musume member Rika Ishikawa.
Kumiko Koda (神田 來未子 ,Koda Kumiko) (born November 13, 1982), better known by her stage name Kumi Koda (倖田 來未 ,Koda Kumi), is a Japanese singer and songwriter from Kyoto, known for her Urban and R&B songs. Having debuted in 2000 with the single "Take Back", Koda gained fame for her seventh single, "Real Emotion / 1000 no Kotoba", the songs of which were used as themes for the video game Final Fantasy X-2.
